Julia L. Lefebvre

Julia is an associate of the firm with diverse experience in civil litigation.

Julia is an associate at BJCTB. Prior to joining the firm, she articled and practised with a top-tier litigation boutique in Toronto for several years. Julia’s diverse practice includes commercial disputes, professional liability matters, health law, as well as media and defamation law. She appears regularly before various levels of court, boards and tribunals. Julia also provides strategic pre-litigation advice and support to clients. While at law school, Julia received course awards in Public Law as well as Sentencing and Imprisonment and was recognized for her pro-bono work with a community legal clinic. Julia interned at the Canadian Studies Centre at the University of Barcelona as part of a program with the Department of Foreign Affairs prior to her legal studies. She also worked for the Federal Government on employment programs and coordinated various public awareness campaigns for a charitable organization.
